As our name suggests, the company has its roots in one of the Baltic States – Lithuania to be precise. This was the home of our founder, Gintas Kerge, who operated a successful business there before relocating to Ireland in 2002. He initially worked for a number of well-known Irish contractors before setting up his own business in 2007. Within a matter of months, he had set up the fledgling Baltic Décor - initially in the painting arena only. The rapid growth of the company since then has been driven by a reputation for excellence and an incredible attention to detail in each and every project. Our clients were so impressed by our level of workmanship, that we were soon invited to extend our services into dry lining and plastering in 2009. We continued to deliver the same levels of reliability, along with competitive costings which offered superb value for money. We operate from our headquarters in Northwest Business Park, and typically take on medium to large projects within the Greater Dublin Area.
Baltic Drylining is a family business, with both our founder’s parents actively engaged in the business. And with so many of our staff being with us from the very beginning, we regard them as our extended family. The majority of our staff come from the Baltic States, Romania and Poland, and they bring a wealth of diverse experience to their roles within Baltic. They’re also very quick to learn – and to grasp new opportunities that present themselves. Our ability to master the particular demands of new products, for example, saw us gain first mover advantage, largely based to the specialist expertise of our staff who had worked with similar products in the European arena. This overseas experience and expertise is also the fore in areas such as timber painting, for example, where specialist staff members with experience in the timber-rich Norwegian market.
